Space Availability - Archive Lab

Archive Lab is a private category and can only be viewed at this URL. If you leave this category, you'll need to use the URL to return to it.

As of May 1st, all 8mm/Super8 appointments will be moved to the new 8mm/Super 8 Film Reel & Microform station.

The Archive Lab is a digital DIY space comprised of 4 stations where you can scan and save your photos, home videos, scrapbooks, slides, and more. The Archive Lab is a great place to preserve your family history for the future, protect your precious memories from natural disasters, or scan and share old photos with friends and family. The Archive Lab is also open to local organizations, clubs, and churches wanting to digitize their photos and records.

We will provide you with the tools and training you need to start digitizing. The Archive Lab is always staffed in case you need assistance with your projectAll scanned items are deleted from the computer after each session, so we strongly recommend bringing your own storage device (USB thumb drive or external hard drive) and/or saving your work to an online digital storage service (Google, iCloud, Dropbox, etc).

Users may only use one station at a time. Sessions are limited to 2 times weekly.
