The Archive Lab is a digital DIY space comprised of 4 stations where you can scan and save your photos, home videos, scrapbooks, slides, and more. The Archive Lab is a great place to preserve your family history for the future, protect your precious memories from natural disasters, or scan and share old photos with friends and family. The Archive Lab is also open to local organizations, clubs, and churches wanting to digitize their photos and records.
We will provide you with the tools and training you need to start digitizing. The Archive Lab is always staffed in case you need assistance with your project. All scanned items are deleted from the computer after each session, so we strongly recommend bringing your own storage device (USB thumb drive or external hard drive) and/or saving your work to an online digital storage service (Google, iCloud, Dropbox, etc).
Users may only use one station at a time.
Due to ongoing building repairs due to the previous storms,
the Archive Lab will be unavailable until next year.
No appointments will be available to be booked until next year.
