Battle of the Bulge presented by Nick Hauser
On December 16, 1944, the Germans launched a surprise offensive in the Ardennes forests in Belgium. After massive initial losses, General Eisenhower directed a staunch defense to beat back the Germans. Learn more of how American units were surrounded but fought on and did not surrender.
