Elements & Arcs Teen Writing Series: The Chapbook Project

Elements & Arcs Teen Writing Series: The Chapbook Project

Julieanna Blackwell will lead a small group of teen creative writers to develop a short story chapbook from page one to printing. In the first class, they will learn the elements needed to craft a short story and begin writing their story from a shared prompt. In the second & third classes, they will learn tricks to rewriting their stories as well as an introduction to a writers-roundtable workshop. At the end of the series, they will have authored a short story chapbook to share with friends and family. This series offers a glimpse of the process of how a story starts with an idea and ends with a printed manuscript.
