Become a FrogWatch Citizen Scientist
Love frogs? Ready to make a difference? Join us at your local library for a FrogWatch USA Citizen Scientist Training and help protect amphibians in your community! During this program, you’ll learn how to identify local frogs and toads by sight and sound, discover their vital role in healthy ecosystems, and become a certified FrogWatch USA volunteer. To earn your certification, you’ll complete a short knowledge and call identification test—then select one of our scouted local ponds or wetlands to monitor just once a month during frog season. No experience is needed—just a passion for nature and curiosity about the sounds of the night
