It Takes a Village: The Story of the Florida Maritime Museum

Join the Florida Maritime Museum to learn about the history of the buildings on our grounds and how they were saved, with a specific focus on our 1912 schoolhouse. This presentation will also touch on the broader movement to preserve Cortez’s history and heritage.

Please note: The Florida Maritime Museum is currently closed while our schoolhouse undergoes a necessary building rehabilitation. All events and programming are continuing as normal.
