Baby Storytime

Baby Storytime

Join us for Baby Storytime! This program is designed for our youngest library visitors—babies from birth to 18 months—and their caregivers. Each session includes simple stories, rhymes, songs, and sensory play that support early language development and bonding between babies and their adults.

How Parents and Caregivers Can Participate:

Your voice, your touch, and your attention are your baby’s favorite learning tools! Hold your baby in your lap, make eye contact, and sing and read along with the librarian. Babies may not sit still or follow along every moment—and that’s perfectly okay. Follow your baby’s cues, and feel free to stand, walk, or rock if they need soothing. Your participation helps your baby feel safe, engaged, and excited to explore the world of words and sounds.

This is a relaxed, supportive space where all babies are welcome; come as you are and enjoy this special time together!

Please note: Our Storytime Room has a capacity limit of 40 people. When you enter the Kids Space, please see the library staff member at the desk to pick up a number (#1-40) to secure your spots for this event.
