Introduction to Genealogy
Curious about your family history? This educational program will go over how to start building a family tree with emphasis on utilizing the genealogy resources the library offers. We will explore helpful tools such as Heritage Quest, Family Search, and the in-house genealogy collection housed at Central Library. In addition, we will go over how to analyze documents for family trees, how to organize information, and how to research beyond the library. This session is intended for beginners to genealogy and will provide valuable tips and guidance for uncovering your roots
