Creative Aging: Drawing from Basics to Landscapes

Creative Aging: Drawing from Basics to Landscapes

Come learn about the different tools for drawing including drawing basics with the types of pencils, charcoal, Conte crayon, etc. You will also discuss different types of paper as well as technique. Loosening up and learning to see what you're drawing instead of drawing what you see are the main focus. You will be doing gesture drawing as well as contour drawing.  Basic skills that teach you to be observant of the subject as well as learning how to loosen up your style. The materials utilized in this lesson will be basic drawing pencils, erasers as well as large newsprint paper.
