Friends 2025 Lecture & Travel Series: Wildlife, Inc

Friends 2025 Lecture & Travel Series: Wildlife, Inc

Krista Carpenter discovered Anna Maria Island in 2016 and moved to the island from Downingtown, PA in 2021.  Always a lover of animals, Krista quickly found Wildlife Inc. Education and Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton Beach, a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, care and release of birds, mammals and reptiles and to educating the public about how to reduce endangerment of local wildlife. Krista began to volunteer and learned how to care and feed the wildlife under rehabilitation.  When an opening in the education department at Wildlife Inc opened, she was delighted to move into a new role of informing the public about the work of Wildlife Inc and the many ways humans can reduce the number of injured birds, mammals and reptiles in our area.
