Beginner Sewing Class
This class is for the beginner who wants to learn about how a sewing machine works, how to thread the machine, sewing basic straight lines, backstitching, as well as using fabric cutting tools and mats. You will also complete an individual project to take home…a beautiful table table runner! Equipment is provided, but participants need to bring their own fabric (participants should bring 5/8 of a yard for the backing and border of the table runner and 1/3 yard for the center; quilting cotton or similar weight fabric is recommended).
