Author Talk: Unwavering by Judy Silverstein Gray
Local author Judy Silverstein Gray will discuss her book Unwavering: The Wives Who Fought to Ensure No Man is Left Behind, set in the 1960s when women were more comfortable remaining on the sidelines, had little access to credit, and when military wives generally played a quiet, supporting role to their husbands. Against the backdrop of 1960s seismic cultural and socioeconomic upheaval, a small cadre of these wives evolved into passionate advocates. Join us for a lively discussion as we learn about their little known and heroic story.
