Beginner Sewing Class
During this beginner sewing class, you will learn how to operate a sewing machine, understand basic tools, properly measure and cut fabric, and sew a simple pillowcase project to keep or gift. The library will provide machines and tools, but please bring your own non-directional 100% cotton fabric. If you own a sewing machine and would like to learn on it, you may bring it.
Fabric Requirements:
*Non-directional fabric is a print that looks the same no matter which way it's turned.
Main fabric-1 yard
Fabric for cuff-1/2 yard
Fabric for trim-1/8 yard
Please see the image below for an example of what you will be making. Let your creativity fly!
