History Talk - Rough and Tumble Women of Manatee County
Step back in time with librarian Katie Fleck to meet the fearless and determined women who shaped the rugged landscape of Manatee County. In this hour-long program, we will delve into the lives of the women who were instrumental in the region’s agriculture, cattle ranching, and rodeo traditions.
Katie Fleck is a graduate of the University of South Florida with MAs in History and Library Science. She has worked in Information Services for the Manatee County Public Library since 2018. Katie is a native of Manatee County, Florida and has a passion for local history.
